Why a blog?

In this age of growing resistance to a system that turns us into commodities, I have found it difficult to develop an understanding of what goes on around me. The advantage of writing is that it helps clarify ideas and analysis.
One thing is for sure - the mainstream press is ruled by the madness of the system we live under. In that context it seems to me that to discuss ways to change the world in league with others who are ready to fight rather than as an individual is a necessity, not a luxury. That is why I am a member of the Socialist Workers Party. Not because it will inherit the state from those who destroy the world we live in but because it is the most effective tool for changing the world. I am proud to stand in the tradition of Marx, Lenin and Trotsky - not as a dogma but as the most effective critique and the most effective strategy.
So here goes.
